Rob Nickless
Partner
Rob qualified as a solicitor in 1982 after attending Southampton University and the Guildford College of Law. He joined Jacobs & Reeves in 1980 and has been with the firm ever since and is now the Senior Partner. Having dealt with a broad based practice for many years, he now specialises in family matters including child and financial issues. Rob is an accredited specialist in children matters and domestic violence and further deals with high value financial cases.

Helen Henson
Partner
Helen joined Jacobs & Reeves as a trainee 1996 having completed the Legal Practice Course following a return to her studies after the birth of her two daughters. She was initially based at our Wimborne office and qualified as a solicitor in 1998 becoming a partner in 2003 when she moved to our principal Poole office. Helen specialises in both residential and commercial property matters, including acting for developers. She also deals with the purchase and sale of businesses and companies.

Nick Hyman
Partner
Nick qualified as a Solicitor in 1983 after obtaining his Law Degree at Nottingham University and then attending Chester College of Law. He joined the firm in 1985. He became a partner in 1988 and now deals exclusively with commercial, development and residential property work. Nick is a past chairman of Bournemouth North Round Table RT1066.
Since 9th September 2019, Nick has been based at our Wimborne office.

Ashleigh Lydford
Partner
Ashleigh is a Solicitor who joined the firm after completing her Law Degree at the University of the West of England in Bristol in 2013. Ashleigh has been with us since ever since and was admitted as a Solicitor in July 2016. Ashleigh became a Partner in 2018. Ashleigh specialises in both residential and commercial property matters.

Tom Killick
Senior Associate
Tom is a Litigation Executive who has been with the firm for 33 years and during that time has gained significant experience in dealing with all types of family matters including, Divorce, financial disputes following relationship breakdowns, disputes over children, including Public Law Care proceedings and Domestic violence cases.
Outside the office Tom is actively involved in non league football having played semi-professionally for many local clubs including, Poole Town, Wimborne, Dorchester Town and Basingstoke and is now the manager of Poole Town F.C.

Burcu Bulbul
Trainee Solicitor
Burcu joined Jacobs & Reeves in July 2021 having completed her studies. Burcu obtained a Law degree from Bournemouth University and completed the Legal Practice Course with Masters at the University of Law. Burcu is a Trainee Solicitor dealing with private law matters, domestic abuse injunctions, care proceedings and divorce. Burcu wishes to become a Family Mediator one day.

Helen Elliott
Private Client Practitioner
Helen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, and joined Jacobs and Reeves in September 2021.
She assists clients with the preparation and completion of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, with obtaining Court of Protection Deputyship Orders, and deals with the administration of Estates.
Helen has a particular interest in assisting elderly clients and often visits clients in their own homes, Residential / Care Homes or in Hospital, and is a Dementia Friend. Away from the office, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Fiona Kenny
Solicitor
Fiona qualified as a Solicitor after attending Bristol University obtaining a Masters Degree in Legal Studies. She joined Jacobs & Reeves in September 2019 and specialises in Estate Administration. Fiona is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section, a member of the Institute of Art and Law and an affiliate member of STEP. Fiona has gained a wide variety of experience in Estate Administration matters to include high net worth estates and estates with a variety of complex issues. Fiona has a practical approach to deal with estate administration explaining tax and will trust principles with relevance and clarity.

Rebecca Shaw
Trainee Solicitor
Rebecca is a trainee solicitor and joined Jacobs & Reeves in September 2020. She obtained a law degree from the University of Southampton in 2019 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol.
Rebecca has gained experience within the family law department dealing with domestic abuse injunctions, private law children matters and divorce. Rebecca currently works in the conveyancing department, covering both residential and commercial property matters.

Trudy Wareham
Lawyer
Trudy completed her legal training in 2002 and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2004 and has practiced residential conveyancing since qualification. Trudy specialises in residential conveyancing.
