Our office is a large red brick Georgian building situated on the pedestrianised High Street (which unfortunately is not shown on the map below) at its intersection with North Street.
If approaching on foot from the Dolphin Centre you should cross the railway line and very shortly you will see our building on your left just after the accessway to Sainsburys. If approaching from the Quay, you will see our building immediately after North Street and on your right.
You will note that both our front and rear entrances are accessed by means of a number of steps. We appreciate this may cause difficulty to some of our less mobile clients. Please refer to the second paragraph of the directions for Winchester Place.
If you are travelling to 153 High Street by car, we have a small car park off Newfoundland Drive. Space in this car park is extremely limited and it may be necessary for you to use the adjacent Pay and Display car park at the Pitwines Sainsbury's Store. Our car park is located between (1) the roundabout on the junction of North Street, Lagland Street and Newfoundland Drive and (2) the pedestrian crossing adjacent to Sainsbury's. If you park in our car park or in the Sainsbury's Pay and Display you should walk through either car park towards the front of the Sainsbury's store and the High Street you will find yourself in a modern square across which is located our office. If approaching from this direction, please pass through the wrought iron gates and use the rear entrance door.
8 WINCHESTER PLACE - Civil litigation and Probate Departments
Our Litigation and Probate Departments are located at 8 Winchester Place, a nearby office development with access at street level.
Winchester Place may reached again by going along North Street opposite and away from 153 High Street. You will see a landscaped parking area with modern offices to the right. In the middle of that office development an archway is formed by first floor offices. Number 8 Winchester Place is the first door on your right after passing through that archway.
Appointments for you to be seen at these other offices may be made by prior arrangement. If you wish to attend 153 High Street without such prior arrangement and the steps present an obstacle to you, please go to our Winchester Place office and they will contact the relevant person at our High Street office.
If travelling by car to Winchester Place, you may make use of the above mentioned car parking although please be sure to ask our receptionist there for a temporary permit to avoid being clamped. This parking may be accessed off the slip road from the Towngate flyover or alternatively by travelling along North Street from its junction with Newfoundland Drive and Lagland Street.
